QUAD GmbH, based in Lippstadt in North Rhine-
Westphalia, Germany, was established over 30
years ago with the “Point of Sale Technology” division
as a distributor and consulting platform for
POS systems, kiosk solutions, barcode technology,
label printing and mobile data collection for single-
user and cross-border installations in Europe.
The company‘s core competencies include the ever-growing range of technologies in retail and hospitality, which is why this product area is now presented under “Business Solutions”.
The “Advanced Systems” division with OEM products has been successfully positioned worldwide for many years as a supplier of scan and RFID modules for installation in systems and products, with offices in France, Italy and the UK.
The team “ITL - Industry/Transport/Logistics” is expanding the “Advanced Systems” division with its expertise in the Auto-ID environment with production-ready IT and Auto-ID solutions for the automotive and accessories industries, thereby acting as an additional growth driver for the consulting-oriented distributor. “This new division helps our customers to get an overview of QUAD‘s rapidly growing product range, to focus on the areas of individual interest and thus to benefit even more intensively from the respective competencies of the teams,” reports Manfred Dobler, Head of Sales ‘Advanced Systems’.
“We were able to record 2024 as a new all-time record year and the adapted structure helps us to be able to meet the increasing demand with efficiency and flexibility even better. The intensive cooperation between the different product teams and the resulting consulting expertise remains one of our particular advantages for customers – across product areas,” says Karsten Hinners, Head of Sales Business Solutions, summarizing the strategic reasons.
The implementation started at the end of 2024 and will be completed with an adapted website and new logos at the beginning of 2025.
