The topic of sustainability influences our activities in practically all areas of the company.
Our corporate philosophy makes an important contribution:
- Selection of high-quality, long-term usable products
- Cooperation with solid suppliers
- Optimised logistics (routes, materials, capacity utilisation, etc.)
- Refurbished service
In addition, our commitment to the ‘Waldlokal’ association is another important sign of our commitment to environmental protection:
Since 2020, we have been supporting the reforestation of local woodlands with the large-scale planting of new mixed forests in order to preserve this important piece of quality of life for both current and future generations.
Whoever plants a tree, plants hope.

Extreme drought and bark beetle infestation have led to massive deforestation in many parts of Germany.
Formerly densely overgrown areas now resemble vast steppes and therefore no longer fulfil their important role as oxygen producers and habitats for countless animal species - not to mention the visual impact on hikers.
Reforestation of the previous monoculture with a mixed forest adapted to climate change is therefore necessary as quickly as possible - but unfortunately also time-consuming.
We therefore decided back in 2020 to support this reforestation of native forests as effectively as possible through a long-term commitment and to promote this mammoth task with our annual Christmas budget, for example.
Several thousand trees have already been planted as a result, many of which have taken root and serve as the basis for a dense deciduous and coniferous forest.
The annual planting campaigns, during which our employees go into the forest and actively plant new seedlings in the forest floor, are also a welcome highlight.
It is also important to us to primarily reforest forests in the Sauerland region that are close to home - because this allows us and our partners to follow and enjoy the success of their own commitment live at any time and for generations!
Many areas have been planted around the beautiful Möhnesee lake, which you are welcome to hike through! We have enclosed a picture of the hiking trail, but it can also be downloaded from the ‘komoot’ hiking app. It's worth it at any time of year!
