Use Case: Revolution in water analysis
QUAD Advanced Systems has provided bar code-based track and trace solutions to Palintest for the past five years. Zebra’s SE2707 one-piece imaging scan engine is integrated into Palintest’s electrochemical analyser, Kemio and acts as the bridge between the analyser and a range of application-specific sensors. Kemio is used to analyse water samples to ensure disinfection levels in water treatment to confirm the absence of heavy metal contaminants in drinking water. The Zebra SE2707 reads barcode information from the sensor foil and uses this data to load specific calibration coefficients, allowing for highly accurate results tailored to each sensor type and production batch.
